celtic tuning in cornwall are quoting 370 bhp plus increase in torque and remove speed limiter for under 400 quid ? they list s54 3.5 I , is the 35i turbo'd, are they confusing this with the s54m as people are reporting less increses than that even after changing manifolds, exhausts, cats, cams and under drive pulleys, surely a map cant give these gains, anyone tried it ? my mate had his 55 amg done and swears by them but he aint that mechanically minded and easily fobbed off, I can imagine they will do something that will feel as if the sport button is on all the time so it feels faster but not much real world changes. ... thoughts? :?

I had a s35i, remapped to 390+ HP and 425 ft lbs of torque. definitely the most do-able BMW engine in a while. Dinan in North America remap the ECU, water pump speed , the whole thing but costs about $2000 for a stage II, .... mostly because it maintains warranty. A stage three gets 425 hp and more torque but requires a Dinan oil cooler and a few other pricy bolt ons.

Any of BMW 335's , 535's etc. with a sport package (oil cooler) can be done up. The best bang for the buck was the 135, a 135 with Stage 3 and an M sport suspension was outdoing M3's on the track.
