Celebrity Sex Offenders

Dave Lee Travis, Rolf Harris and Bill Roach (Ken Barlow, Coronation St) all in court today facing historical sex offence charges. That's some scheduling coincidence?
 
When I saw the title of the thread I thought the makers of reality TV shows had sunk to a new low... :roll:

With those three being out and about on the same day it's probably safer now the kids are back at school. :o
 
The good thing about these people is that they can defend themselves, and more importantly face punishment if found guilty, unlike the other unmentionable piece of long haired cigar smoking piece of s**t ever to exist, apologies for any offence with language.
 
I still wonder why they waited till Saville was in the ground before exposing this ? Just who stood to gain by his silence ? And who are/were the two minor Royals that also frequented the home for girls that Saville "used"?
 
So many childhood heroes have gone down the drain. The first LP I bought was a Gary Glitter one :(

What I don’t get about all this is if you take William Roache for example, the allegation against him is from 1965 to 1967. The alleged victim is now 63.

Firstly why has it taken at best 47 years before this was reported?

Secondly, with no DNA or other physical evidence it’s one persons word against another, how the hell can you defend yourself in this situation.

Thirdly, even if Roache is found not guilty, its to late the damage to his character has been done.
 
Just a :!: All those named are unconvicted defendants currently within the judicial process, not Sex Offenders - Think Christopher Jefferies and the contempt of court problems for all involved, it might be wise to edit the title?
