That could be an idea :).

Not sure when though as the next couple of weekend's are out - I'll be at KH at day Sunday though, watching the British GT's and support races.

fluid for the clutch uses the brake fluid reservoir. it is fairly easy to spot under the car.

when you lift the car and get under it you will see the bleed nipple. do you know what the CDV looks like?

Cheers Rudd, All looks straight forward enough, However its always usefull to have that magic number you can call when it all goes t*ts up so would be great if you could PM the number just in case, If ally and i can get together to do the two cars at once would be all the better and dont envisage any major mishaps (famous last words) :lol:
 
Only reason I see to mod would be to keep OEM look and ensure no warranty issues. Otherwise just remove the darned thing, the pipe just screws up into where the valve was removed, no parts needed. 30 mins labour charge at a garage (clutch bleed).
 
He he he, this sounds like a plan coming together Nosa. Aye, still got your number so will try and arrange something soon. This weekend is biking Sat then KH Sun, next weekend supposed to be biking both days :D but we'll manage sometime, I have (some) confidence in our abilities... (famous last words).

I will hold of removing the CDV till your up for it, would rather we did them together :thumbsup:


Since i changed my back springs i feel like i can achieve alot more now. not so scared i'm gonna break my car.

Car goes into the body shop next week to get the vandalism damge fixed, it has taken them this long to get the new bonnet, apparently it had to be ordered direct from BMW Germany :? :? , I don't get that, surely somewhere in Britain some supplier has a bonnet, But however the guy at the body shop has looked after me really well and argued with the insurance company on my behalf as they just wanted a patch up job done on the bonnet, He apparently described my car as "Pristine", (My wife tells me there was no living with me after that :rofl: :rofl:) and as such it should be repaired correctly.
As i have chosen not to use any of the insurance companys recommended repairers they will not pay for a courtesy car but my man at the garage is giving me one anyway, I really can't complain about the service they have supplied. Dunfermline Auto centre, Halbeath road Ford dealership :thumbsup: same people who did my bumper.
 
Thanks for the votes and comments people, nice clear cut decision obviously the country and commuinty are very indecisive at the moment :wink:

As it is a complete split vote i think it obviously comes down to personal preference, decision made, will just remove the damned thing :thumbsup:
