CDV Valve

Evening all! Quick question of curiosity, what are the benefits of removing the CDV valve? Does anyone have a link to a guide on how to do this if I were to decide to?!

Thanks in advance :)

Guess that depends if you find your gear shift irksome in the first place. Mine is just fine. Not as slick as our mx5s, but still perfectly fine, hence never done mine.

Well there's no need to swear and use the M word  to be honest I find the gear changes just fine, pulling away in first can be jerky at times but I figured that was just my driving  so I guess if there aren't that many benefits then I should just save myself the time?!

It always fun to mention in conversation that you have 4 M's on the fleet.

The fact that three of them are Mazda's, is not really an issue, we enjoy them all. :driving:

Haha no you're quite right! My father in law and best friend both have mx-5's and I must say they're very entertaining cars to drive!
