Hi all

Cars up in the air for a load of stuff tomorrow

While it’s up I think I’m going to remove the CDV

What’s the overall consensus- remove the insert in the CDV OR remove the CDV totally and bolt the pipe up without it?

Cheers in advance

Stuart

Remove totally, there’s more than enough slack on the line and the fittings are designed to go together. Presumably the car is out of warranty so ‘tampering’ isn’t an issue. Well worth it btw

Good guidance thank you

Remove totally , and some advice if you get air in the system get someone to sit in the driving seat to press the clutch pedal down when bleeding while you undo the bleed Nipple near to the valve
