CD Stuck in Multi Changer

I've searched and I cannot find my same circumstances.
The cd player tries to pick up a cd but freezes. I can eject the cartridge but there's a cd missing, so it must be stuck in the player.
I know they're outdated and I should get an intravee but I'm skint at the moment. How can I get the cd out?

Any help appreciated.

For the amount of hassle to get the changer out, buy a new cd, put an iPod kit in and go digital in the car

Not being flippant, it's a major pita to remove and for a £10 cd, not worth it

I agree with what you're saying but as I said I'm skint for now. I was hoping for an easy way to get the cd out like "disconnect negative terminal, switch ignition off, blink 3 times, turn ignition on" sort of thing.

If its stuck trying to read, pull the boot bulkhead carpet out, disconnect the ibus connector from the changer and try to eject again. This solved a similar problem with the head unit when I put an mp3 cd in it and it threw a hissy fit trying to read it

That's more like it. Thanks ill give it a go.

On the subject of mp3 discs, because my cd changer could be knacked, I tried putting mp3's onto a disc. I dropped each album onto a cd but it won't play any other but the first one. I can't flick between CDs within a disk. I read the manual and it said use directory on the sel menu but it doesn't work.
