Cd player not working

Hi I have 3.0 ltr 2003 with an intravee 2 iPod connection in the boot and also a 6cd player in the rear console that doesn’t seem to be working , am I correct in thinking that only one can be connected to the sound system?

Yes. That’s my understanding with my limited knowledge.

I have a cd changer but no aux socket even though the brochure says it is standard. I wonder if it is deleted if an optional cd changer is selected?

Isn't the aftermarket installation in the boot using the original CD changer cables?

If you Lift the Carpet in the Boot in the Centre , you will see the back of the CD player and be able to see if the Loom cable is plugged into it or the after market gadget is using the Loom. Also if there is no Power ON indication on the front of the unit is a tell tale as well.

Thank for all the replies lifted up the carp and can see part of the cd player it’s half covered by a box which has intraveel label on an attached block on one side with a cable going to another box on the left of the boot which has the iPod connected to it , need to look at the loom but may need to remove the intravee unit to get at the rear of the cd player
