CD changer wiring ?

Hi, could anyone please tell me if the wiring is in place and how I can find out for a cd multichanger ? I've looked at the vin decoder and it says" CD changer ibus perpetration " does that mean the wiring is in place and where would I find it ?
Thanks for any assistance. Roadster 57 plate sport .

Every UK spec car has the wiring. It will be taped down under the centre console, some have longer cables than others.

My M had particularly short leads whist the 3.0 before had fairly long leads.

Bit of disassembling to get to it though, have a look at one of my dismantling threads. If you can not find it, I can post some pics up.

Ok thanks for that , am I right in thinking it sits in the rear middle console between the seats ( one of the 3 ) ?

As PVR said, it's taped to the floor. Best way to gain aces is via the boot, but if you are fitting a changer you will have to take the rear centre console out.

Ok thanks guys I'll take a look in the boot and under the carpet. Looking at ebay would £60 be about right to pay for one ?

If you go through that trouble why not fit an Intravee and use an iPod for the music?

Must be about 12 years ago that I last had one ...

Will that allow me to select tracks without looking at my phone as I have an aux connection but I find it to distracting to be looking at phone pod whilst driving ? Was hoping to use the sterimg wheel controls.

Do you have a satnav?

If so, it would be great on the screen for browsing and selecting. If not, it is via the radio and a bit more cumbersome.

If you don't have nav go for a dension instead.

Agree with PVR though, much better than a changer.

Ok found the 2 wires for the changer from boot access and removing felt lining . Does the blank filler just push out and the changer slot in place on the bottom spacer ?
