Cd cartridge

Hi all,can anyone help with how to get a jammed cd cartridge out?

I have the same problem. Googled it and it seems a common problem. Some have managed to get there's out by holding in the eject button and hitting the cartridge and it sometimes releases. Mine did not though still stuck fast

The E60 has a bmw tool to push & release the cartridge, not sure if this is possible with the E85 though. Sorry.

Hold the eject button and wriggle the cartridge, it will come out eventually. Then dismantle the trays and cover everything with Mr Sheen. This fixed mine for years.....until it didn't anymore

Hold Eject and bang it, a small pry with a screwdriver while holding the eject button fixed mine, and its been fine since

Once you get it out (by whatever means!), try the Mr Sheen trick.
