Might be interesting to test an individual value like i.e. 15kph/0x0F, if you are able to code it on a byte/word level.

I will check it the next days with my BimmerCode tool.

Yup that’s what I did using Protool..


In the CTM coding > Expert, search for this option using the magnifying glass - GESCHWINDIGKEIT, set to a custom value xx and then code it. That should raise the limit of the top being closed and opened to yy kmph

Will an individual value apart of 6,30,50 kph be accepted by the CTM? Or better asked, will it be used as a new limit?

Pass..I just substituted the hex value in that line in the CTM module..

14 for 20 kmph
1E for 30 kmph..

Not an expert on NCS coding..sadly..speaking German would be a great help..

Interesting test results:

I put this value with my BimmeCode app to unusual 003, 0x09 and 0x0f (km/h)
Each individual limit was accepted and, when opening while driving, got the correct warning message at the according speed.
