Hi all,

Picking up my 3.0i Z4 in black on Thursday this week, but I've already caught some form of Z4itis/Detailitis!

Had a bit of an ebay shopping spree and have ordered:

Dodo Juice Sour Power Shampoo (£7.85)

Dodo Juice Purple Haze Car Wax 30ml
Poorboys Black Hole Glaze
(£18.95)

Gummi Pflege Rubber Car 100ml

Muc-Off Microfibre Mit (£9.95)
2 big yellow sponges (£2.25)
10 Microfibre Cleaning Cloths (£6.95)
Deluxe Fluffy Drying Towel (£5.99)

I already have 2 buckets (well my housemate does!).

Plan of action is to wash it, poorboys blackhole, then purple haze wax. When it gets a bit warmer in the summer I will buy a DA polisher and go to town, but for now, this should sort it out :)

Pictures will be added as and when! Feel free to comment in the meantime if I may have missed anything!

i caught the detailing bug and it bit me hard after i found out i sucked at it! a proper detail requires a lot of time skill and patience..i have none of these

Remind me never to fall ill near Birmingham

@simvaughan1 - god job, that's a great list :thumbsup:

(Except the sponges :o )

A+E in birmingham. time: limited (emergencies), patience: limited (brummies), i wont have any trouble smashing in a couple of chest drains for your trauma alert, very little skill involved in that. monkeys with tools....

I realised I'd got the OCD bug bad when I was in a dealership selling 200k plus saloons and all I could do was look down the side panels and go .. Would you look at the swirls on it .. The problem with swirls is you go through life not noticing them and then suddenly you notice them and then you cant stop seeing them.. Everywhere :!:

Haha so picked up the car and it's rather dirty... Took him two weeks to change the plates over from his private plate in which time he hasn't washed it! Needs a good clean! Pictures soon :-) all my cloths and what not have arrived but none of the products! And the sponges are for the wheels so I don't destroy my mit! Brush might have been better but hey, it'll do for now :-)
