Cats?

My paintwork and roof have both been affected by cats, and yes I do forgive them, Having in the past owned both dogs and cats I much prefer cats. they are Highly intelligent independant loving creatures. It is proven a cat will not stay anywhere it does not feel wanted or loved and vice versa, if it is not happy it will not stay, Lets not turn this into a cat / dog thing. Your aerial got chewed by what you assume was a cat. and now you want to kill them all. that makes sense :?

Nosa it's you that introduced dogs to the equation and check my posts mate I've never mentioned harming a cat. It's well for you that can afford to have your cat destroy you paint work and devalue your car. So does your cat make you smile when it scratches the car that makes you smile! really now?

Do you think its fair that your cat like many others may be destroying cars whilst the owners are oblivious and don't really care what damage they do. It's most definitley not a cat dog thing its strictly a cat issue. If my dog was to damage some elses property I'd certainly feel responsible infact I had a pup that chewed my mothers front grille on her new car and I paid for the repairs, I'm sure I've had to replace shoes at some stage and possibly some soft toys its called being a responsible owner, something cat owners aren't in my opinion.

I think we should close this topic as its no longer car related?

But thanks for all the input.

I think you're probably right, particularly if you're going to make such general sweeping comments such as:

P.S. Cats > Dogs :P

Have to say, its pretty hard keeping an eye on what your cats doing. Since they are out at let 8 hours of a day, and you can hardly train them not to scratch things. I would hate it if my car got scratched by a cat, but i would hate it if it got a dong in Tesco's too.

Cats are lovely creatures, and this aint just our world

I don't find that comment condescending in the slightest.

Ok maybe aren't is a tad strong, but its something they don't have to worry about as they're cats are allowed to roam free, that is until some smart ass with time and money proves your cat has damaged his or her motor and sue's you, come to think of maybe it's been done in the USA.

Some dessert for you.

" 3 YEAR OLD MAULED TO DEATH BY FAMILY PET DOG."
" Woman has face bitten off by pet Dog."
"neighbour paralysed for life by Dog."
"Walk in the park rotweiller horror"
"Mans Stubby chewed off by Mountain Lion"

List is endless. :P

Don't think thats in particularly in good taste mate and there's always answer for everything it's just a case of good taste in this instance I think you've got it wrong. So I won't comment on your examples with a like for like of my own.

My Thomas would like a date with one of your boys (Thomas is gay)

And please don't tar all cats and owners with the same brush. Thomas sometimes sits on my bonnet and I've searched for scratches but there are none at all. They only really get their claws out if they are provoked or scared. So I don't mind when he sits on mine. There are no scratches. He just likes to warm his bum when it's a bit cold. And he's certainly never touched my aerial!

I love my car and I love my cat :)

Strangely a guy at work bought one of these cat deterrents, but what a noise it gives out!

And as said, i am not sure why a cat would have chewed it, unless someone rubbed fish on it :D Perhaps its made of cat mango

Ha !

That noise is the test button so us humans can tell it's switched on and working!

Wasn't convinced of these units, took a punt on one for 8 quid in B&Q bargain bin last week.

Don't get me wrong, cats are probably my favourite little animal - but I'm a NIMBY when it comes to their smelly 'gifts' ..

The little deterrent gizmo has a PIR that detects, then sends a variable VERY high pitched sound that seems to make the cats act like .. "Aah can't be arsed, I'll try next doors garden"

Result !
