So there is a chance i may change my job soon which means a 160 mile round commutte each day :driving: Not very economical in a zed so was thinking of selling :o :o :o :o However, after not sleeping at the thought of letting her go i have decided not to sell her and i will buy something like an ultra economical pug 107 for the commute :)
so the plan is that she stays    :D :D :D :D

Get a cushion and airplugs too while you're at it. 160mi a day in a 107 pug. You'd have to pay me to do it.

Get a lexus or something to eat up the miles not a small city car. Of course keep the zed, the money that the roadsters go for is not worth selling.

cheers guys, Buckz forgot to say the journey wont be everyday but want to keep the commute costs low. used to commute in a suzuki swift sky :o :o That used to rock like a ship on the ocean when you shut the door

£500 passat / bora tdi. Much better than a pug 107. Will last longer too. I did a 240 mile round trip to Wolverhampton on weds in the z. Averaged 39.8mpg. Quite good tbh. Plus come summer on those long commutes. You'll still take the z. What would you rather. Shitty weak AC and save £5 a trip or the roof down looking baws!

I had a Volvo S60 2.0 petrol for the same reason. Not particularly quick or economical, but it didn't cost much and it was a very reliable & comfortable cruiser.
