Catalytic Converter Issue 2.0L

Hi everyone !!

It seems that I am not being lucky with my ZED :( , Last weekend someone reversed into me and yesterday I had the engine management light ON.

I took the car to my local garage this morning and the computer said it is the Catalytic converter as per the pic below.

The mechanic asked me to used CATCLEAN and see !!! Do you guys know how much would a cat cost ?

Good Morning!

After the weekend scare I decided to use REDEX before doing anything, I really pushed my ZED both on motorways and B roads with heavy accelerations and fast driving and guess what !!! REDEX done the job for me :) and the Engine management light has gone off.

I will still be using CATACLEAN and hope for the best :)

I just thought I post some feedback just in case someone experience the same thing.

Hi ben, good news and worth knowing. :thumbsup: When did the light go out mate, while you were driving or after turning off and on again?

Hi Tug, It was gone after exactly 80 miles, In the morning when started my car it wasn't there. I don't know if it did help but I do have to stress that I been really pushing my ZED and giving it real hard accelerations.
