I had this problem and the wife wouldn't let me use our Doberman on it so I got one of them pet deterants you can set the frequency so it didn't bother the dog. A mate used cut up Carolina reaper chilli's with the same success

Some say tin foil works??? You just need to make to roof an uncomfortable place to be and the bed better.

I planted potatoes in a large tub. Looked like a large soft litter tray to the little buggers so I stuck in lots of bits of sticks in like a slightly bald hedgehog. .. was quite funny watching them try to squat... but they soon shifted to the bit of the garden I'd dug for them to use.
