Cat sitting on roof and how to stop them

Have the same issue as well, however Tin Foil works, two strips side to side wedged in by the doors.

they must not like the noise or the reflective look to them? since then i moved the car to the other side of the drive and the Ginger erm cat has never bothered it since

Does nobody else garage their cars ??? :(

Buy a shed, clear all the crap out your garage in to the garden shed and park your car in the garage

This works! I have a fence post the cats used as a scratching post. Wrapped some foil around it and the problem had gone.

Was going to suggest a Garage, but Number 5 beat me to it. :D

Put a cover over it, then take it off. I'm guessing the little bugger likes the surface, so changing it around should put em off.

That works fine until you take the car on holiday and the local moggies stomp with gritty claws all over it! :x

Cat food + rat poison

Nice!! I hope someone puts poison in your kids food :D

Would be easier to put warfarin in...

My cat was poisoned. It took me a day to clean the blood up from my bedroom. I found sparky under the bed contorted from the pain of throwing up the blood from internal bleeding. She also had signs of external bleeding.. You could see where she started, how she had tried to get off the bed and where she moved by the smears if blood across the laminate and on the wall.
The smell was, well as you would expect from an animal that had had massive internal bleeding and fatal organ failure.

So next time you suggest it try experiencing it first. Simple methods like the mat, ultra sonics, tinfoil, anti scratch spray, and simply providing and alternative place work wonders for stopping cats from scratching or sitting on stuff.
