Just bought two 4 litre Castrol Edge 0W-30 for £19 each from Asda.
£38 for 8 litre has to be a bargain.

Now where's the best place for oil filter's and air filter's

Just seen this at Arnold near Nottingham. Don't know how many they have left. £9.50 for 4litre there :o :o
Could always ask a member of staff if none on shelf.
Only one on shelf when I got mine so I asked and they went in back to bring another out.

FFS just paid £67 for 2 :headbang:
Could you not take it back or have you opened it

Ordered online. I was at my local Asda before and there sale price is £30. The only decent deal was castrol magnatec 5w30 4l £20, but I didn't bother.

Seems I got a bargain :D :D :D :D

Can't see how one Asda can sell an item at a different price to another Asda.

Hold on Castrol Edge 0-30 is a bit thin. I would not go below 5-30 and would suggest the Castrol Edge 10-60 is the best oil for these cars.

It's what BMW recommend?

0W-30 & 5W-30 is the BMW LL04 spec for these cars, I would be using that.

10W-60 is for the S54 M engine!

OK I stand corrected but I think it depends on age and mileage of car. 0-30 is as close to water you can get in terms of viscosity so for an engine with a few miles under the belt it make sense to go for something slightly thicker. I have to say Castrol Edge 10-60 is a brilliant performance oil which I have always used on sports cars.
