Castrol Edge 0w-30 (LL-04 label change)

Hi,

Just after some comfort (hopefully) from the experts!

Just received 8L of the above engine oil which I have used before and noticed that the label no longer says 'BMW Longlife-04' on it.
I've done an internet search and the majority view seems to be that the oil hasn't changed and it should still be fine for pre-2019 cars.

Anyone come across this before? Any contradicting views?

I'm not sure that label has changed, but I think they use more than 1 label.

I'm sure I've seen containers of 0w-30 with LL04 on them and some without. Maybe they think they can charge more if it says LL04!
 
Might have something to do with not being the recommended oil supplier any more? Why pay for the cert if you doubt there will be any sales benefit? Or maybe it expired and isn't worth the renewal cost?
