i need to get the car serviced by October, ill likely do the clearances too as i haven't peaked at them for a few years! i picked up a new oil filter housing cap billet so want to fit that at the same time, change super charger oil . Whats frustrating is my car uses 6.5 ltres of oil ( due to the bigger oil cooler) .

Its the wrong oil for your car, you need BMW Spec LL04 0W30, 5W30 or 5W40 for the N52 engine that you have.
