Have you seen the crazy money some people are asking for the last month tax disc on E-bay?
still perforated up to £1000 :o
Not seen what they are actually going for yet, but glad I didn't throw mine away :)

Holly s**t! Is that a joke? Only reason I ask is I still have mines still perforated. Never put it on knowing that at the end of that month I'd be taking it off lol

We should all be removing our tax disks from our windscreens. At that price people will be smashing the windscreens to get the disks!

Exactly what my missus said :)
Although I've not actually seen any that have sold yet - any that have bids are very low.
I assume if I keep hold of mine, in years to come the price should go up - could finance my next Zed :D

I've been stuffing the latest one in front of the others for the last three years so at this rate I'm retiring!!

Seriously though just changed the other car so let's see how long it takes to get the tax refund back from the old car - another scam you pay immediately for the new tax and they keep hold of your old tax money for weeks bah

What a load of utter bo11ocks. Old tax discs will be worth f@ck all until the year 5,000 when the human race has evolved into just a brain in a rose tinted jam jar mounted in an electric wheelchair.

Just saw this and then went and checked ebay -   Someone is even managing to get bids on one of the plain paper ones that they were sending out when they ran out of the perforated ones! I'm off to collect them off my cars and put them up for sale :driving:

At least the plain paper one has some rarity value (maybe enough to make it worth a couple of quid but surely not thousands).

today I am going to sorn my car, i got the reminder today, shame i did not do it 3 days ago

Just removed the tax disc from my wife's car. If just stuffed them into the holder year after year and now I know why they've withdrawn paper discs. 2008 the cost was £200 - 2014 £280

No discs, I reckon they'll think we will forget the price rises!
