I suffered the dreaded water leak problem and am pleased to say that after ordering a second hand one from the states for £350 from an X3 and even though it was a newer model it worked a treat and didn't even need programming!!! Do not rely on real oem as after phoning the stealer they gave me the 3 options that would fit.
