Car's Xmas tree

Wife called and described what appear to be a car celebrating Christmas. After parking the EML, CEL, DSC and Yellow brake light turned on along with an increased idle going from 1K rpm to 1.5k rpm... She freaked out, turned it off and called me asking what it could be: "Not sure but it's likely a thousand dollars"... :tumbleweed:
She came back down during the lunch break and now only the CEL light is on... I thought: "Good we're now at two hundred dollars"!!!! :driving:

Now jocking aside, I'll plug in the DIS tonight (which I finally got to work a couple of days ago) and see what's wrong with it, but doing some research it appears to be one of the following items:
1) stuck/faulty throttle body
2) stuck/faulty idle control valve
3) I've read of some instances that had to do with wheel speed sensors or random module.
4) I know it's not a vacuum leak cuz the high idle symptom disappeared

Anyone has had any problem with all these lights turning on at the same time?

Your check engine light (we call a mil light) could be any number of things. May just be a faulty sensor. So check these first. O2 sensors are known to go on these. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

By the time the wife got back home and parked the car all the lights were off and the car was running as if anything happened.

I plugged in the DIS there was a weird code some like "torque control not plausible"... Or along those lines... Also the DSC had an error regarding CAN communication with EML...

Anyway: give the behavior (surging idle) and EML light, I removed the throttle and checked the ICV and TB: the ICV was dirty, not overly dirty... But there was what appear to be a scar in the dirt. Also it wasn't flapping as easily as others I've seen.... I've cleaned it with some TB cleaner and put everything back together...

Hopefully it was something that stupid: only time would tell....
