Gives me food for thought as I've never bothered with warranties before as always done my own repairs but once this has run out I will have to re-think as it's hardly an old non complicated MR2. Assuming I keep it that is.

Cheers John....Have only driven it the 3 miles home from the dealers feels a whole lot better. I know what you mean re Warranty......the days of points/plugs and you're on your way again are long gone.

great result there! THose N54 engines have some shocking reliablity reports though, theres a guy on Detailing world whos had 4 HPFP's on his 335i - one every year for the past 4 years :O

Hence the Warranty Jamie........we've not all got the funds of a PVR.

It's been taken down PVR but I've got his number, when I'm fit enough I intend to go and have a look and a chat with the owner, trouble is I keep going into AF even though I'm on beta blockers, and I dare not drive to Scotland and back at the moment, spent the other night in A&E so it's not the time just now. Got a stress test scan Tuesday and a non stress test the following Tuesday then the cardiologist can decide what we do based on results of those and the ultrasound scan. The guy wants a decent price for the M so I reckon it'll go back up in springtime now, but all being well I'll go before that and see what we can thrash out. Got an offer from my dealer for mine but they've dropped the price as it's coming into winter so will have to wait until springtime, or I might let a guy I know in Wakefield put it up as a brokerage sale in his sportscars showroom March April time. There's no hurry to do anything right now and tbh my focus is this sodding heart thing, need to get that dealt with then think properly of playtime.
