Carpet Removal

Hi Everyone,

I’m looking for a resource on how to fully remove the interior carpets in a Z4. I have been unable to find a full guide online, and I was hoping somebody may be able to point me in the right direction. I’m already 90% of the way there (side trims, center console, rear storage compartment all already removed). Really the only thing remaining is to remove the large plastic panels behind each seat that cover a speaker and go up into the rear top bay. I’ve never found one.

The carpet is in 2 pieces. The rear comes out relatively easy once you’ve loosened off the rear covers. The front is a pain. If you want to take it out in one piece, you need to take the dash out to expose the braces. I cut mine under the dash to take it out

See below on pulling those pieces. You have to pull the small piece behind the roll bar first,
