Carol's new Porsche - A few more pics

Nice car Carol. What I do like about this forum is that you can talk about other cars happily and not get trolled.

A Z4 and a Porsche are pretty different really driving experiences and I hope you really enjoy the car

Not sure if the Porsche could deal with the swimming experiences you put the Z through though Carol ….

Lovely car Carol - a friend of mine has bought a 3.2S in bright red - probably a bit older than yours ( 06 reg I think ) - but , like yours , in absolute mint condition . Looks totally awesome and the engine sound is just something else. I joined Boxa.net when I was thinking about getting a Boxster - not as friendly as this forum but you will soon shake them up.Yellow really works for a Boxster IMHO - enjoy :D :D

Congratulations! Looks wonderful and I love the yellow,

Be interesting to hear what you think of the differences in driving experience.

:driving:

Thank you guys. I love this forum, it's filled (mostly  ) with great people, true petrol heads who appreciate a nice car, no matter what the marque.
Speaks volumes that lots of ex zed owners stick around.
Awwww group hug. :friends:

That is a very fine car you have there Carole. Speed Yellow is the best colour, on a Porche, every time. 8) Enjoy! :D

Not too shabby on the old Zed either.

Congrats Carol....really pleased for you.

Think about your poor Z though....bet he misses his mummy and wondering where you are....

He's cold....wondering when you're coming to take him back home again.... But he doesn't know yet does he  :(

Your Z was lovely btw....

Very nice indeed, does it not feel a little "old" compared to the zed though? Not that I'd care, it's a Porsche ffs, but the e89 is so modern inside and out!

Oh bugger, sorry!

No, it doesn't really feel older. It feels more like a 'proper' sports car.
(It's 2010 build, it's not an old one.)
The cabin in the zed is a bit more luxurious with the alcantara and contrast stitching but the box feels more like a drivers car if you know what I mean.
Bit early for proper assessment yet though.

Well blurring out the plates resulted in me not knowing how old it was :P

I know exactly what you mean about it feeling more like a proper sports car, look forward to hearing more about how it is to live with (especially costs wise)

Yeah, that's something I'm interested to see too. :D

It says in the book 98ron fuel but if 95 is used it will automatically control the timing to adjust. I think I'll put 98 in though.
