Carol's new Porsche - A few more pics

Nice one Carol...joining a few of the female (and male) forumites who have jumped from a z4 to a porker over the years...good choice, and more of a mellow yellow than that of your z :)

I must admit, a cayman s in silver or nice blue(like tony/guiseleys) really appeals to me these days...my mate had one years ago and loved it, it was a good car to drive even back then, taking the best comfort and raw sports car mix that you would get if u mixed an e85/6 and an e89,lol

Looks like it suffers from bad road rash looking at the number plate

Looks nice though for a Porsche.

Nice motor  I'm sure I've driven past that a few times recently on the way to join the motorway
Stratstone's? It probably was.

Andy, there's bags more room.

Mr wilks you would never have offended me. Atacama yellow is def marmite. You either like it or you don't. :)

DPG, yep it's a 987.2 3.4S.

Very nice Carol! One of my "hooning buddies" has one, keeps it in b'ham centre all locked up. I really like them. Sounds weird but when we always pull over or finish a drive and you're stood by the boxter, the heat it seems to generate and pour out from the back wafts the smell of spent tyres in your face, yep that sounds as weird as I thought it would. Either way, I just don't get it with a zed and it makes me feel inferior :?:D

Very nice Carole. Make sure the flap in between the cup holders is up as the have a tendency to move :-/

Hope you have a lot of fun with it

The rear boot is quite wide but very shallow. Be careful putting tall things in the rear one or you can put dents in the outer skin... I almost did that...phew!

and Carol, I got my 911 from an Aston/Bentley dealer, it is very nice working with those folks isn't it ...

Good choice, much much nicer than your E89 in my opinion, and it' feels much more of a 'sports car' doesn't it

Yes I believe it is. Only Aston garage around here I believe. You local then? I'll have to keep my eyes peeled, then again it shouldn't be too hard spotting you ;)

Definitely faster  and I've not pressed the 'loopy' button yet. :D

Good tip about the cup holders' flap, I'll watch out for that.

It's just a different class from the zed but don't get me wrong I'd have another zed in a heartbeat and probably will at some point. I'm sure I'll miss it. I had a heart twang driving past it when I left :(

Looks very nice Carol, seriously think about getting the grilles on those front intakes, below is picture of mine with them on so you can see what it looks like, also pic of the Boxa and Cayman I had last year:
