Its a bit rude to post yours on his thread to
be honest

Well if its a live sales thread maybe but as its over 4 months old and the OP hasn't logged in for 2 weeks I think its probably safe to say its probably been sold in this case..that said it is easy enough to start ones own for sale thread :fuelfire:

Agreed :-) Posting on others sales is pure laziness, rant over :D

so is not responding to enquiries from people you've offered something for sale for, for 4 months. no need to get our collective knickers in a twist about it. i'll start a new thread now no problem.

Hi, is this still for sale and can i code my e89 to close roof on fob, without upgrade. Tom

AFAIK, unless the car has the rare comfort access then a SmartTop is the only way to do what you want. After changing the tyres the SmartTalk is the best mod I ever made to my E89. The one touch button is worth it on its own

Hi, there is a guy on youtube did this off the carly so he caims. What is the smart talk is that the after market add on, and out of interest what tyres did you do, i have just ditched 19 runflats for 18s with more sidewall. Tom.

Hi Tom, it’s been discussed, and tried many times, by members on here regularly. My understanding is that without the comfort access pack, which is rare, it can’t be coded to the car. A 3rd party module is required and the one I mentioned is https://smarttop.uk/product/smarttop-comfort-roof-control-for-3-series-and-z4/ there’s various suppliers etc but this is one. 2nd hand ones don’t appear that often and aren’t much cheaper.

If you’ve found someone who knows how to do it, post the link and you’ll make many people on here very happy

I went for Michelin MPS4S’s as they’re highly recommended and come out well in most tyre tests. For me personally the grip was the big thing. Many others use different types based on personal choice and budget. Goodyears/Vredistein/Dunlop/Khumo, and others, all have their fans on here. I run khumos on my E90 so like many things for your car, personal choice for whatever reason
