Ordered an adapter 2 weeks ago, purchased the full app....

It was working great for a day or 2, managed to code a few things on my car and my Brothers... now the app won’t connect to the adapter...,

I’ve emailed them countless times, done exactly what they’ve said, restarting, re installing, standing on my head and reciting the Old and New Testament....and it still isn’t working...it’s buggered.

The reply I keep getting is, try this, try that.... each and every time it’s the same outcome... the adapter isn’t working...

Same email and round and round and round we go..ad infinitum... :headbang:

Anyone had similar issues???
 
Latest version.

Yup...connecting to Carly WiFi first....

Was working the other day, now nothing. Tried every permutation, the lights flicker on the adapter for a second, then stays red and the app tries to connect but nothing.

Same happened to me today, they released an app update and of course my phone is set to auto update and now I cannot connect to the adapter.

Its been working for over a year now until the day I actually need it to read a code.

The lights on the adapter flash, its connected to the correct WiFi and has an IP address but the silly new GUI shows connecting to adapter 1/3 do not close app.

The light on the adapter blinks a bit then stops nothing happens on the phone. Car has gone to the mechanic now so cannot try again but I'm sure its down to the new app update, if you can try and find the iOS equivalent of the APK and install it I bet it would work but doubt anyone has an old version and the apple walled garden probably won't let you do it.

I believe there is an iOS version update out (12.4?) - have you updated your phone's software to this latest version?

Maybe the app update only works with the latest iOS?
 
I had an issue with Carly, albeit Android, and it was eventually sorted in about 3 days. Admittedly it was to do with paid subscription and an old version so a lot simpler to correct.

Sounds as if the iOS app just doesn’t work and they need to get the developers to fix it!
 
A updated version for iOS has been released to, allegedly, cure connection problems. I haven’t tried it so can’t confirm.
