Carly showing hanbrake errors

Hi all,

Just swapped out my rear discs and pads and of course had to disconnect the handbrake motor as part of the process.

All back together, footbrake and handbrake working perfectly on both sides, however Carly gives me the codes in the image below.

I have cleared them but they remain, all plugs are tight and snug and handbrake works evenly, just did a straight line handbrake stop from 10mph in a car park to test it.

Any ideas????

Carly might not be capable of resetting them, it's hit and miss with that application.

Each module has it's own fault codes stored individually so the correct reset command has to be sent to each.

A lot of faults have a counter where they automatically reset after a certain number of power cycles so it may go by itself eventually.

I would be inclined to agree with you on there, I will try the reset in a week or so. Gives no dash light so not a real problem.
Interesting how it labels the right and left motors with different names I think!!!

As a matter of interest did you release the handbrake prior to clearing the fault code?
When I do the cruise control fitting there is always a handbrake fault come up, once the handbrake has been released it will clear without issue.
