Carly question - Audible confirmation

Me again

I got myself a Carly unit and have used it to enable the following:

Closing the roof from key
(Doesn't seem to close the windows though)
Indicator three flashes on touch
Audible confirmation of locking

This last one doesn't seem to stick.
I coded it, it worked then it just stopped.
Coded off and on, worked again now doesn't chirp on locking.

Any Carly experts with any ideas?

I coded my car to do this (with NCS Expert) and it only occasionally chirps to acknowledge it is locked.
I assumed it may be something to do with the gap-tech that is fitted to mine. Does yours have a gap-tech ?

Sorry I don't know how to do it, but it can be done.

A forum member coded my previous Z4 to beep once on unlock and twice on locking using Carly with subscription.

Another forum member coded my current one to beep once on locking with a laptop, and presumably ISTA or INPA.

Try leaving one of the doors open, lock the car with the FOB and see if it chirps.
