Carly or equivalent?

Looking into getting Carly, or another type of the same thing.
Not really by plan, but we've ended up with 3 BMWs within the family, so hoping to get something that can cover all three.

I don't mind if it works by phone, laptop or whatever, but looking to get whatever can serve all three cars best. For example, can Carly or similar switch on M track mode on the Z4M?

The ages of the cars are 2017, 2022, and of course the Z4M, which is late 2007.

Would welcome any suggestions anyone can give.

Depends what you want to do, diagnostics then the ISTA suite would be best but more difficult to set up / need a laptop, cable, etc. Much cheaper though than Carly if you have a functional laptop.

If you want easier turning on and off of options on the cars then Carly does seem a straightforward way to do that than the BMW programming options.

You can only program M track mode (ironically not really great on track but more a DSC 'light' mode) in BMW software as you need to add / switch certain parameters on in the code which Carly doesn't do AFAIK.

Thanks, appreciate the reply.
