Will this only work on BMW's or can they be updated to include other vehicles? I also have a RR Sport, which might get more use than the Z4!

They can be used on multiple cars, but you need to buy an annual subscription to the software for each marque (or pay a bit more and get it for all marques).

Check first with the free trial, as some marques offer very little diagnostics access via Carly (e.g. the BMW/Mini subscription allows lots, the LandRover subscription very little).

You need an IID tool for the RRS from Gap diagnostic, expensive but worth it
