As far as I am aware the Z4 isn't rated for a trailer under UK law but I was wondering if it could be modified to support a cargo carrier?

This would be useful to carry bulky things that wont fit in the boot like spare wheels for track days, extra luggage on longer holidays, or sports equipment etc.
I have seen similar things installed on earlier Z4s in other countries, but would this be legal on the G29 in the UK?
