We,re in Cardiff for a few days staying with our youngest daughter -off to see Quo tonight supported by Wilco Johnson :D We love Cardiff but what a difference to what we,re used to back on the IOW :? Driving on the M4 always feels like we,re in an episode of Gavin and Stacey -we even stop off at Leigh Delamere Services and the toll across the bridge always seems to have increased -the amount of traffic that use it must have paid for it several times over ! Not brought the Zed ( currently under Sorn ) just as well as you need a parking permit everywhere here ! My nerves wouldn't take leaving my P&J on these streets !
 
You keep coming over my bridge as often as you like Gov - It all helps pay my wages !!

It gets handed back to the Government around Dec 2017, for someone else to run. Its all up in the air at the moment.
 
We love Cardiff, been to a few events, at the Arena and the Millennium hall. :thumbsup: The redeveloped area around the Docks is nice but still rather quite.

Enjoy Quo, they played Dumfries this year. Could hear them from the back garden so they are loud, esp if they have taken their hearing aids out!
 
Only been once, it was May 2005. Play off final against Hartlepools Utd.
Great day,the town was completely Blue and White, I can't believe it was 10 years ago. :thumbsup:
My team are there this Saturday, sadly I can't go.
