Carbon roof

I don't have this myself (yet!), so I can't say whether this is considered the "best" or not, but as it's the only option I'm aware of, sharing it for consideration: https://www.geoffsteel.co.uk/shop/bmw-e86-z4-roof-skin/

I could be mistaken, but I think there may be some members who have installed this as well.

What mounts?

Presumably Sticky ones  Isn't the E86 roof just bonded in?
Exactly. However there are 4 screws also holding the OE skin on, I'm not sure if they are provisioned for with the Geoff steel one but I imagine they are not really necessary, the bond is very strong. Goke also make one, I seem to remember it's more money but it's probably a dry layup rather than wet.

Four screws!

Thanx, anyone that can give a review?
Maybe several threads about this already, sorry if so

I ordered one of these just before they closed for Christmas. I Should have it within the next few days . Will let you know what it's like

I believe a user called Sixspeed with a lovely white track Z4MC on here has one?

good roof, though furbishment was a little hit and miss. Some roofs were packed very nicely indeed (mine included), whereas some other left a lot to be desired, and arrived with damage. some also had hair/dust inside the layup, whereas mine was done very nicely. it was a little hit and miss. I believe GS ended up sorting it all out, however lots were delayed.

nice piece of kit. love mine.

Would you have a link for this by any chance? Not having much luck googling this, and would be great to see some of the other options out there.

Actually, think I've found it - Crest Automotive appears to be the seller/distributor for these products now: https://www.catune.co.uk/products-Y2FyX21ha2U9Ym13JmNhcl90eXBlPXo0bSZjYXRfaWQ9NDcmY29tcF9pZD04.html

Hiya .
Recived it a while back . Seems good quality . No bubbles or imperfections that I can see , well packaged . Haven't got round to fitting it yet , currently got a massive box in my living room , which my missus is really happy about

Thanks for getting back. Have you figured out plan for installation including adding clear coat etc? Hopefully your missus doesn’t “accidentally” throw it away :)

I am thinking about doing this as well still in two minds at moment.

Luckily she's only small , so would struggle to shift it :D
I've got some aero skits that need spraying and fitting , and a skyer rear spoiler to go on . Gonna take it all to a local bodyshop and let them try and figure it out . Probably just give them geoff steel number so they can sort it from there .
