Though my M was pretty much specced with everything I wanted it was missing one thing. The Carbon leather trim.

Well no more! after a 300 mile journey followed by a trim swap with a fellow member and bundle of twenties his way then a 300 mile drive straight back last Saturday my car now has it :D

That looks very nice. Bet you had fun fitting the centre panel - it's the one time I wished I had a roadster :?

It wasn't to bad tbh. The worst part was trying to get the knee pads off. In the end I found that pushing the one clip you can see from inside the transmission tunnel once the ash tray is removed did the trick.

Am I right in thinking you have to take all the panels behind the seats out to change the centre consol.

From pics online I wasn't keen on the carbon until i drove my car home last weekend with it in ,
I had intended to offer it up as a swap for the piano black but not now
ive cleaned & sealed the dash & door trims so the matt of the carbon leather now looks great against it ,
A class act that should have been M spec standard
