@ Half Colin: what material did you use and is that also what you applied on the dash panels, or are these 'real' pianoblack panels? Looks good! (and no risk of mixing up the patterns :D )

So the surround on your kidneys is actually black is it? I just got some 3M graphite CF for my dashboard. Just got to pluck up the courage to give it a go now. :?

Annoyingly i had the plate before they released the X5.

Not so annoying is the fact it's now worth substantially more than what i paid for it! :thumbsup:

I just got some 3M vinyl wrap off eBay but the dash is real piano black - the wrap matches perfectly though.

Not sure if this is the same seller but it's about what I paid.

They do slide up further than you think. Make sure the top edge is free to go under the leather.
