Carbon Induction Kit - £176 delivered!!

I almost nearly ordered the CF-610-6 330i M54 from them for my 3.0i M54-engined Z4. Had a bit of communication with the seller, went as far as including the mod within my insurance renewal for last year, but in the end couldn't justify it for something that wouldn't fit the Z4 perfectly. As has been said, the Z4 engine bay's a good bit longer hence the intake wouldn't reach right to the front.

They sound awesome :)

Brief update. I got a reply from Simota, to the effect that they are potentially interested in making an M intake, depending on likely volumes. I've asked for an indicative price, and when I have this, I'll post up another thread to gauge interest.

Cheers!

Hardest thing about a diy induction kit is the fact that the maf sensor is mounted directly into the moulding of the airbox cover,if this was in a short pipe of its own its no problem at all.

Which is the same position as in the e46 M3, so should be no problem.

would there be a great deal of difference between the configuration of this in a 3.0si N52 and a 3.2m S54 engine..ie if they fit one, will they fit both?

Depends on how the MAF connects, the diameter of the intake (possible use of a simple adapter), mounting points, etc.?
