Carbon Induction Kit - £176 delivered!!

Anyone know if these will fit? And if not could it be made to fit? For £176 its a bargain!

They don't list a fitting for the Z4M, and the M3 one won't fit - based on the fact that the Gruppe M one for the M3 doesn't fit the Z4M.
 
I would have though they will fit on, just won't face upto the slam panel correctly? For both 3.0 and 3.2?
 
then would it end up sucking in warmish air? lose a bit of power that way i'd reckon.. 'specially on an M
 
The MAF sensor in a 3.0Si (N52) is different from that in the photo so wouldn't fit. Don't know about the M54 engine.
 
They don't fit. However Simota have said they'd be willing to make one if they get a trial car.
 
To be honest all you really need to do is connect some new piping so that the filter sits at the front of the engine bay with an appropriate gap for the MAF. Shouldn't be too difficult.

So is that the only difference between the M3 and whats needed for the Z4M? Just that the filter sits further forward? So the shape of the carbon cover is the same? If so I could get my friend at DM-Motorsport to make some adapters to fit our cars no problem

EDIT: Btw I've also emailed Simota offering my car as a donor, see if they come back
 
All the Gruppe M really is, is a bit of straight tubing with a hole for the MAF and a K&N filter with carbon fibre wrapped around it. Have a look at the pictures and you'll see what I mean.
 
Ok so they are about an hour and a half from me, could be tempted to offer the car up.

Anyone there in particular I should talk too?
 
I'd be up for one of these if they can keep the price below £200 - purely for the sound of course.

Would go well with the silencer bypass mod pipes.

Still won't get anywhere near the sound of my mate's CSL or GTR-33 though - whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
 
Give em a shout, I've had no reply since the initial one. They obviously need chasing!
