Just wondering if anyone has fitted carbon fibre wing mirror covers. I would be interested in comments and any recommendations. How well do the stick on ones fit? There seems to be quite a variation in price too from about £50 - £132.

Just searching the forum on this as I'm planning on getting a set,
see no one responded, just wondering if anyone has tried them since.
If not I'll let you know when mine land from China !!

I ordered some from EBay to come from China. They never ever arrived and EBay refunded my money.

I got these off the web for £99
Nice do they fit over the originals mirrors and covers or are they a full replacement.

You can get real carbon fiber ones from DB Carbon in Germany - very expensive though!

A significant weight saving, nonetheless. Worth every euro.

Yes a friend of mine has them fitted to his E85 and they are superb quality

I'm currently debating whether to get carbon fibre mirror caps too...

Seems like its either stick-on caps for about c.£120 or full replacement caps for about c.£350. I imagine with 3M Vehicle tape the caps will stick in place pretty well if you tape them up properly. I've got a carbon fibre lip spoiler that's stuck on there really tight with 3M, so I feel confident that it'd do a good job with the caps. My only concern is how flush with the existing trim it will sit? Not really interested if its going to have a big gap or be obviously stuck on there. If there's anyone who's taken the plunge, it'd be great to hear their experience with them.

I'm tempted by these full replacement caps https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/224790132984. The same seller also makes carbon fibre roll hoop covers that I'm 90% decided upon getting as I hate the OEM brushed silver painted roll hoops.

Those are for an E85, not E89
