Carbon Fibre upgrades.

Hi All,

Has anyone found a good supplier of Carbon Fibre upgrades? e.g. mirror caps, front splitter etc

The ones I rate:

3D Design - diffusers, splitters and spoilers. Diffuser is amazing but ££££'s.
Hamann - decent spoiler other stuff not looking too great.
Rowen - excellent wing but ££££'s.
DukeDynamics - full CSL trunk conversion is amazing but again talking ££££'s.

Keep away from the oem BMW carbon bits for what they are there a rip off and don't look that great. Choose carefully

Would have too disagree on the BMW carbon bits, it is very expensive
for what it is but the quality is top notch. I had the Performance carbon diffuser, spoiler and mirrors on my M Sport 1 Series and was as good as anything on the market. Cheap carbon looks just that, cheap.

I only say that because when I bought my oem m sport diffuser for my E92 it was no where near as good quality as the DukeDynamics diffuser my friend had and was only marginally more expensive.

I really dont think you can compare Rowan by Tommy Kaira and 3D Design parts with oem carbon, there streets ahead IMHO.

Plus not everyone's idea of quality it the same as others. Some people think Tata make good cars. Just saying

Thats the one thing to consider BMW actually havnt released alot of add-ons for the E89 yet.
Like in the Matrix, Blue or Red tablet chaps. Something more bespoke or mainstream? Your wallets might not like what you see below :evil: dont me for it.

Is that just the M Sport front with a 3D Design CF splitter - combined with the BMW Black grille and the centre bit with some CF wrap or similar?

Yes absolutely correct, looks great doesnt it.

If I am correct the centre bit is not wrapped but part of the actual splitter, hence the price.
