Carbon Fibre Stubby

Surfing ebay as is my want and came across this, i quite like it but with the Black carbon fiber with black chrome finish rather than the Black carbon fiber with chrome finish.
I'm quite tempted to take a punt at this but i thought i'd see what you guys thought. I have the mangowalk stubby at the moment and happy with it but just thought it might be something different :thumbsup:

It will cost about a tenner delivered, why not just buy 1 and try it on. You may set a new trend

I have just ordered a 1 and half inch stubby just to try

Thats what i was thinking of doing but i thought i'd gauge some opinion.
Where are you getting your 1.5 from?
 
Not keen on the shiney parts but maybe mask out the carbon section and spray the rest matt black but thats just me i would as said above order one and see what you think

i wasn't going to order the one pictured but the one with the black carbon Fibre and black chrome which looks far better imo :thumbsup:

That looks better the only thing is it wont match the base but as said thats just me a fussy old git (Victor Meldrew has got nothing on me when i am old all the kids will knock on my door and runaway :rofl: ) go for it suck and see as they say :thumbsup:

The main prob with the stock antenna is its lethal and someone like me who washes the car a lot its a pain my radio worked fine with just the base until i bought a stubby which i personally prefer to OEM which looks big on a low car like a radio controlled toy
 
It seems to be the nay's have it at the moment,i know the OEM whip provides better reception but i prefer style over function as i don't listen to the radio that often anyway certainly not on AM.

I've got a similar CF stubby (black/black) on my Alpine White -Been very happy with it and I think it looks great. No problems with reception - AM not used much, if at all, in the U.S. I went with the black/black, because I'm trying to get rid of all chrome. I'd love to find black 3.0i lettering. Z4 already removed....
