Carbon Fibre Inserts?

I want carbon fibre inserts for my steering wheel (the red arrowed sections in the image below and possible the green sections as well).

Does anyone know where I can get these? Saw a picture of a car with these a while ago and custom alcantara trim etc. However, after exhastively searching google/eBay I can't find any supplier for the carbon fibre inserts though they clearly exist. Has anyone bought these or can anyone point me in the right direction?

I would additionally like carbon fibre inserts for all plastic sections on the middle (flip up for cigarette socket) and surround for gearbox and under handbrake.

I don't think you can get it as standard. you would need to do it yourself. you could wrap the trim pieces with CF vinyl.

Heres a link to the wheel trim.......

....and the rest of the other bits are on the same site.

alexman great shout on these parts, this would look so nice in person...... whos going to be the guinea pig then and order them??? or shall we group buy it??

The CAautomotive one is for 5 series etc though and is one piece. I'll call them Monday though to see if they can get ones for Z4M wheel and report back on single/group prices.

Does say in the list it's available for the Z4 but not the model detail....

They would look good, and i would be interested in these :) Providing they are decent quality CF, not the brown-ish colour stuff :D

CA Automotive came back to me. Despite the fact the other model ones are around £105 these will need making and would fabricate around existing parts - cost is around £275 for a set - they said they can either take my bits and it takes 4 weeks or buy OEM parts from BMW which is about the same again.. so either I can be without my wheel (?!) for a month or pay £500 for basically what is carbon overlay. Anyone know anyone who would just do this at their autoshop for the price of carbon sheet fitting and labour?

Does anyone knows if these parts can be ordered at your local dealer?
Not the carbon ones but the originals.
Mine are in a really bad shape.
