omg this actually loo amazing fitted! I dont really want my car off the road, so it seems I'm going to be 500 lighter! But on the plus side ill have a spare set of dash trim!

Your car doesn't need to be off the road, you can use it with these bits and the centre console missing. I also think you could save £200 going on the costs mentioned.

I've sent over a pic for a ballpark figure, proper cost will require measurements but it's cold so can wait

for the good of the forum, id be willing to let my spare dash trim (both parts) and non armrest version of centre tunnel transmission trim be used for mock up/ exchange starting point if something was to be sorted........

I'll keep that in mind mate, being so new here I must confess I'm not overly clued up in the difference between arm rest/non arm rest....

The other thing I constantly see missing from the interior bits for sale is the plastic chunk under the hand brake?

the black plastic parts are separate pieces but as seen above in marksdesigns thread these can be covered too and (in my opinion) looks better for it.

Non arm rest is very rare (bottom of range spec) 2.0 se non leather spec.

IIRC imp75 bought it without realizing

I am thinking there's something missing from the group buy suggestion - door handles too ? :?

Yup in my ignorance I just assumed the armrest sat on the tunnel trim. Will know better for the future :tumbleweed:

Can anyone show me pictures of this arm rest? I've never seen one!

I can 100% get door handles done.

I'll get a price for those ASAP as they'll be properly simple.

I think I have this leather pad... the handbrake makes for a comfortable arm rest when down, I was wondering if this was an option or not...

I think I should be able to get pull handles done for a fair price, real carbon is never "cheap" though. Carbon wrap is the best option if you're looking for a bargain.

I'm pretty sure grab handles could be around £50 though.

I actually know a person who runs a carbon wrapping business... does bits mainly for the Jap motors... the most common bit he sells is the carbon plenum for the 350/ 370Z. But his work is very good... could easily make molds of bits if there was a higher enough demand.

I actually asked him about wrapping my roll hoops... but had to remove them to do it.

Thats not bad at all!, just to confirm this genuine carbon fibre? not wrapped :?

.... you guys make me poor :headbang: ... would look awesome to be fair :D

Other than door handels is that everything?

Yes covered in genuine carbon fibre, that's the three pieces of interior trim, I just sent him an image from an ebay auction of the trim.

You could add in whatever you wanted for a little on top I'm sure :)

Here's a quite example one some wing mirrors I've seen recently:

I'll probably be a test mule for this and see how it turns out anyway... so you'll all get to see the finished product before committing (just going to source some spare trim now) :)

I quite serious on this, will the price decrease on demand if we can secure orders? or is that pretty much it on margin. As if I was doing this would also want the handels done as well :?

P.s thanks for findiing out... I have been holding off for a panio black trim / or bi-colour set but there like hens teeth

OK well I guess we could get a few members involved. I've found a second hand trim set to buy to be my test mule, just trying to negotiate on price, with just having bought the car, I need to wait until April to get this done, but I will.

Once I've done it, I'll fit and get some pics up... then if we get a group of five or something, I'll ask him to bring to price down a bit (it's not exactly on a big margin as it is, but maybe another £20 off per set or something).

Once I've got a cost on the handles, I'll ask for a cheeky cost on the two together too.

I'll update this next month (sorry for the long wait).

I'd be interested in the door handles (both silver parts) and possibly roll bars depending on price
