Sad news - the Zed is finally up for sale.

BMW Z4, Black Metallic, 2.2i SE.
M54 engine
miles : 79k
CSL reps, Spyder angel eyes, BBk, Remus exhaust, too much carbon fibre, //M bumper, Rieger rear diffuser, //M steering wheel, Eibach springs, Rolled arches, Carbon Fibre Racing Dynamics air box / cone filter, Stack gauges, the list goes on and on.

She's on Ebay, have a look if you or anyone you know fancies a rather superb Zed with lots of mods.
might even be worth someone buying and splitting out the parts. Unfortunately i just don't have the time to do that.

For £9,500 ONO its a little more than the 5k standard ones on Ebay, but you get all the great, expensive mods.
Still a good starting point for something of a project.
And before you ask - nope won't be splitting anything from the motor, she's sold as she is.

Lovely motor, love the carbon touches and all the other bits. However, I'm going to honest as I think its quite over priced for a 2.2, especially in the winter. You can pick up high mileage M Roadsters for a similar price which are newer. An asking price of around 6.5 - 7K would be closer to where the market is at, the carbon mods certainly make it more desirable to a potential buyer, but most buyers won't pay 5k extra for this.

More likely to get a better price if you split the parts... If you do end up going down this route could I'd be interested in the mirror caps and grilles assuming they are complete carbon fibre and not lay overs

If I'm extremly rich one day ill buy everyones z4 that they need to sell. Then ill store all of them and if they ever miss the z4 life ill let them enjoy it for a day.

Just reduced her to £8500. I think its very competitively priced. Sorry not selling parts yet - waiting to see how the sale goes.

So you've used real carbon fibre, but glued it on over genuine parts.

So does that not mean it's not actually what a layman would understand as being a real carbon fibre part, but an overlay as FR08MEE was implying?

Its what you would get if you purchased a CF laminated OEM part using 2x2 twill Carbon Fibre. If its good enough for Aston Martin (we do the CF parts for them) then thats good enough for me.

If you do decide to split I am sure your carbon bits would sell quickly. Hopefully you would easily make up the difference if you then sold an almost standard 2.2 on the bay?

No probs mate, get used to the nit pickers on here! yes there are some terrible copies - especially from China - example are the wing mirror covers on Fleabay, those are terrible but for £50 quid i spose thats expected. Will see how the sale goes with the parts o the car - if not sold then im splitting the thing down to standard.
