So I've finished the development, testing, modifying and spent the money getting a stainless mould made and polished. Worked out which seal is best and which air filter to use.
I have developed air trays for motorcycles and that gave a 8bhp gain in the midrange and flattened out the fuelling flatspot too on motorcycle that puts out 118bhp as standard, so a great gain (https://www.jollyscarbon.co.uk/product-page/air-tray.
I have noticed a big difference in midrange and throttle response. Oh and the lovely induction roar just makes me giggle...... a lot!!

(The rubber seal actually weighs 200grams!)

I have also developed a air scoop fro behind the grill as the standard one restricts more than anything.

So the discount bit for you lot.

I have 3 of each ready to go.
The air box and air filter will retail for £284.99p and to the forum I'll do them for £275.00 + £10 uk P&P and £15 for the rest of the world.

The air scoops will retail for £84.99 and again I''l do those for £80.00 (+ £10 uk P&P and £15 for the rest of the world.) and £75 if you buy an air box at the same time.

The fairest way I can think of doing this is for buyers to reply and quote this (so I'll get a notification) and the I'll contact the first 3 on the list for payment (PayPal as a gift of bank transfer only)

I will be launching this on my website on Sunday Morning 3/11/24.

Hi, has this been developed for an m54 engine only?
Any dyno results/ graphs etc?
Any sound levels taken?

Will it fit/work with an N52engine ? Will the cabin resonator tubes still work with it?

Look forward to hearing more about them, thanks.

Any dyno results/ graphs etc? I'll need to recoup a bit before doing 3 dyno runs, It's cost rather a lot so far. But it is more responsive and seems to have more midrange.
Any sound levels taken? It's quite loud sat inside the car, dunno how and where you would measure it? Do you have to gear that I could borrow?

Will it fit/work with an N52engine ? Dunno I only have a M54 in my Z. Feel free to pop round and we can see if it will fit!
Will the cabin resonator tubes still work with it? I would think so as that joins the pipe not the air box.

Look forward to hearing more about them, thanks.

Won’t work with the N52 as the MAF sits in the pipe coming out the back of airbox.
You would need to make a tube with a port to fit the MAF

Sounds like [ref]Jollygiant[/ref] needs to work with [ref]Jingle[/ref], as he's local and always up for tinkering with his 3.0si.
