Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Set E89 Z4

I have another set of carbon fiber trims for the E89 Z4. This time I have finished them in matt 2K lacquer:

Price for the set is £380 including shipping (Spain to UK) on exchange basis. If want to keep your old trims and prefer not to do an exchange then price will be £550.

The two pieces for the light switch and the heating / ventilation control that you can see in the photo I have not as yet attached them permanently to the leather pieces, this is in case for example you have a car with cream interior trim rather than black in which case you can attach these trims (with a bit of tweaking) to your existing leather panels. Of course if you have black leather panels I will attach this permanently prior to shipping.

Really nice work that dude, personally I prefer the glossy laquer on carbon but its good to try something different :thumbsup:

Thanks! That's what I thought.... to try something a little different. They certainly do look great in the flesh but if someone really prefers to have them in gloss that can be arranged for small fee.
 
I assume this isn't simply a carbon style vinyl wrap? What is the product used to achieve the result?

Nope! It's proper carbon fiber fabric 'skinned' on top of the original aluminium trim. In terms of product you need carbon fiber fabric, loads of epoxy resin, some lacquer and oven to cure it all and around 15+ hours of labour. :)

If you send your trims in I can do them no problem. To keep them in stock I will need to find some second hand trims at a reasonable price.

Would you be interested in making me a set of glossy finish carbon ? If you look at the steering wheel I have just put on ( control customs steering wheel ) thread . Maybe you can see what I’m trying to match it to. Hopefully we can sort something?

Matt looks so much better than gloss, the shinny stuff looks so fake to me even though it’s not!
