car tax question

My car tax expired at the end of January so a few days ago I renewed it online buying 6 months tax. Problem is when I do a vehicle enquiry on my car it says it's untaxed. I have done this before and the dvla computers normally update straight away. Do you guys think I should call them or are they just been a little slow. Thanks
 
Doesn't matter guys I have just read that it can take 5 days to update. It just seemed a little unusual to me because in the past it has updated almost instantly.
 
Ive had the same issue with insurance. Plod pulled me over after renewal stating the car wasnt insured. Once I proved it online they were happy. The online database had not been updated.

I gave admiral an earful considering I hadnt changed insurers nor vehicles or drivers and they just didnt care.

I find it pretty ridiculous that db's have this much trouble and cause all of this unnecessary worry. Must be some human error / issue down the line .. :x
