:D zed gone to live in Manchester young couple bought him(Maldives blue /cream leather 2.5 I auto)
Hopefully gone to a good home woke up one day and decided I wanted a change 2 years with one car is about as Long as I’ve lasted for years
Looking for Mx5 2005 launch model or zsport 2007
Not many about of either

Good luck with the MX5 search. I still miss my little facelift sport but the rust became too much of a problem :(

Apart from rust.
Leaks
Lack of power unless you stick a turbo in it or supercharger.
Did I mention rust.

Seriously, i never thought mx5 have rust issues.
 
Thanks for the replies I have been looking on gov mot check and it’s a real problem suspension area and sills thought it would have been sorted by now having had a immaculate mk1.
Guess second choice is new shaped slk or am jumping out the fire and into the frying pan🤯

Less rust but people will point and shout hairdresser at you. That and it's minging.

Seriously though. Maybe get a test drive or two first before considering the Merc.
 
Good MX5`s are out there.
I got a Zsport for the wife a couple of months ago.
You have to be patient.

Didn’t know you knew me personally skelters :rofl: love that zsport Gerry p I’m in no rush owned on older slk a few years ago when I see what I think is the right car be it merc or Mazda I’ll go and look hopefully prices will drop come September or October
