Car Smellies - Info Required.

Stripper scent is a good choice but I've found it needs constant reapplication.

A tin of cali scent, Coronado cherry, no less is my personal choice.

Use the leather smelling air fresheners, and a marks and spencer room spray called cedar wood (which I'm on my last quarter bottle of)

No. Not really. Honest! It was just the first thing that springs to mind other than 'Magic Tree' :)

Anyone hear that the liquid in the smellies can damage and mark your interior - carpets plastic and the like?

:driving:
My wife left an air freshener hanging around the gearstick and it lifted a bit of lacquer on the centre console where it touched :(

I'm not normally a fan of these things but I've got a thin Yankee candles coconut smelly stick that fits in between the air vent, which my dad kept forcing me to take. When it's on it reminds me of being somewhere hot on holiday. Don't think I'll be putting another one in when it's done because i have better things to spend my dosh on.

I use a bubble gum scent spray and with the new leather smell its very lush in my Zed like factory new

Bought something similar from clean your car, strong stuff!

Gliptone leather cleaner/feed is a nice smell too.

Do the soft tops suffer from Damp / condensation?

My S2000 was used daily so it always had aircon on in the winter. But if you had damp shoes it would steam up pretty quickly!

Mine never seemed to, and it was definitely well insulated.

I quite like the california car scents range, they last a very long time. Some nice scents too. Some dodgy ones, but some good ones. The lid can also be opened or closed which is handy.

I've got the BMW aromatic stick that sticks nicely into the centre vent, costs around £299.99 but a bit of bargain as the smells are out of this world :)

That'll be a typo then! I believe the units about a tenner as well as refils being the same. You can get them on EBay from a few BMW dealers or BMW direct for around 20/22 quid with a good selection of refils.

If it's not a typo it's clearly been shat from a unicorn as that's the only way to explain that price.

Oh and green tea is supposed to smell fab!

My 3 series could use some scent in it so I have bought one of those £300 air fresheners as well. Hope they smell as good. Interestingly I got it at a bargain price, I don't usually like to brag, but paid around £20 on Ebay.
